IIHF / Hockey Canada Try Hockey Pilot Program
Hockey Canada is proud to collaborate with the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) to support the development of sustainable opportunities for “Try Hockey / Grow the Game” programming across the country.
The local girls-only "Introduction to Hockey" program is hosted by Capital Region Female Minor Hockey Association (aka Victoria Reign). Open to birth year 2010-2019.
The program is FREE and introduces girls to the basics of hockey.
Brand New Bauer gear will be lent to player for use during the program.
~ there will be two gear fit events
(1) January 28 - each player will be assigned a time between 09:30-11:00
(2) TBD week of Jan 30-Feb 1 at Archie Browning. This will be for players aged 12 years and older
Program runs Sundays - Feb 4-Mar 10 08:00-09:15hrs at Pearkes Recreation Centre
Registrants will be contacted mid-January with more details.
Please complete this brief 4 question survey and you will be provided with the link to the Hockey Canada application form, which is necessary to secure your player's spot in the program.
