Transform Sports' Speed Camp
We’re excited to announce pre-registration is now open for Transform Sports' Speed Camp, an intensive training camp designed to help hockey players improve their speed, agility, and overall athleticism. This is a perfect opportunity for players to enhance their performance both on and off the ice. With the growing demand for this camp, we are so exciting to be able to offer 2 camps this year! Camp 1 runs March-April (8 weeks) & Camp 2 runs May-June (8 weeks).
About the Speed Camp:
Transform Sports Speed Camp is a dynamic program focused on building explosive speed, agility, and quickness—key attributes that translate directly into improved hockey performance. Our camp is designed to develop the physical and mental strength of athletes, empowering them to skate faster, move more efficiently, and gain a competitive edge in games.
Key Program Features:
- Age Groups: Group 1 (2013-2015), Group 2 (2011-2012), Group 3 (2010+)
- Duration: Camp 1: March-April & Camp 2: May-June. The Speed Camp spans 8 weeks, with weekly on-ice speed training, weekly on-ice skill development, and weekly gym speed training.
- Location: Gym sessions held at Transform Sports Performance Centre. Ice session locations TBD.
- Cost: TBD.
- Coaches: Led by expert coaches with extensive experience in performance training for hockey players. Our coaching team includes professional trainers who specialize in speed development for athletes. Check out Adam, Jesse and Chris’ impressive bios.
Program Goals:
- Skating Mechanics: Improve stride technique, posture, and skating speed for better on-ice transitions.
- Agility and Quickness: Focus on lateral movement, changing direction with speed, and quick reactions during game situations.
- Explosive Power: Increase overall power and strength, helping players improve their explosiveness during sprints, puck battles, and breakaways.

Shawnigan Lake Hockey Camps - Registration is Open
Great news, the summer camp is open for registration!! We will be offering two weeks this year after such high demand last year. Week one will be July 29-July 4 and will be a day camp only. We are offering two groups again, U13 and U16 groups. Week two will be July 7-11 and this week will offer a boarding option as well, which is super exciting!
