Micah Zandee Hart has a long list of impressive hockey accomplishments including
Olympic gold medalist and World Champion. Micah connects her success in sport to
basic life lessons and values such as work ethic, resilience and gratitude.
The Victoria Reign are very proud to have Micah as an ambassador for our Association.
She never misses an opportunity to welcome new hockey players in our Try Hockey
programs by attending virtual launches. Micah has coached Reign development
sessions, was the keynote speaker at our first ever season kick off event, and acts as
mentor to individual board members within the Capital Region Female Minor Hockey
Association some of whom are twice her age!
Micah’s March of Kindness
Micah has donated two very generous gifts to the Victoria Reign. The first is a PWHPA
all star jersey, signed by her entire all-star team and the other is a team Google Meet
with her.
We invite Victoria Reign players to participate in
Micah’s March of Kindness. During the
month of March players will “register” their routine acts of kindness on this form:
Micah's March of Kindness. These acts don’t cost anything and require no planning….just spontaneous and sincere kindness
and thoughtfulness .
- Hold a door open at a store
- Pick up a dropped item for someone in the mall
- Offer up your bus seat to someone with full hands
- Say hello to someone you don’t know at school
- Do an extra chore at home
The individual who registers the most routine acts of kindness will be awarded the
jersey and the team who registers the most, will be awarded a one-hour Google Meet
with Micah.
